Systems Engineering & Integration
We deploy certified technical professionals, design and integrate infrastructure systems, and deliver sector knowledge — in French and English, across West and Central Africa.
Across Francophone Africa, the same pattern repeats in every sector. Power generation capacity is installed but disconnected from transmission infrastructure that cannot absorb it. Refineries are planned but without the pipeline, logistics, and processing systems to function. Climate infrastructure is deployed but without the data architecture to generate insight or meet reporting obligations.
The problem is rarely what has been built. It is what has not been connected. The consequence is identical every time: capital deployed, outcomes not delivered.
ResourcePrime addresses the integration gap directly — through systems engineering expertise applied from the design stage through to live operations.
Energy
Generation assets commissioned but grid infrastructure cannot route the power to demand. Transmission systems designed for different loads, incompatible voltages, and no shared control architecture — capacity installed, reliability not achieved.
Extractives
Resources extracted and exported as raw material because the downstream refining, processing, and logistics systems do not exist to add value in country. Infrastructure in isolation from the systems that would make it productive.
Climate
Climate monitoring assets deployed across a region but without the data architecture, connectivity, or analytics infrastructure to convert readings into intelligence — or meet the MRV requirements of climate finance agreements.
We design infrastructure systems with integration as the founding principle — ensuring every component is specified to function as part of a wider ecosystem from the outset. Not designed in isolation and integrated later.
We connect existing and new assets into functional, coherent systems — resolving the fragmentation that prevents infrastructure from operating at design intent and delivering the outcomes it was built for.
We take integrated systems through to full operational status — from factory acceptance testing to live operations — confirming they perform to specification and that the operating organisation is ready to run them before handover.
We provide ongoing technical engineering support after handover — ensuring systems continue to perform at design intent, identifying optimisation opportunities, and resolving operational issues before they become failures.

ResourcePrime’s systems engineering engagements follow a structured five-stage approach — from baseline assessment through to operational support — ensuring continuity of expertise and accountability across the full project lifecycle.
Stage 1
Structured assessment of existing infrastructure — mapping assets, identifying integration gaps, and establishing the engineering baseline from which all design decisions are made.
Stage 2
Development of the integration architecture — defining how systems will connect, what standards govern interfaces, and what the target operating state looks like in technical terms.
Stage 3
Execution of the integration programme — managing the technical work of connecting assets, resolving interface issues, and building the systems that make infrastructure function as a whole.
Stage 4
Rigorous performance testing against design specifications — resolving deficiencies, confirming operational readiness, and completing handover with full technical documentation.
Stage 5
Ongoing technical support after handover — performance monitoring, optimisation, and engineering advisory as systems move into and through live operations.
Our engineering capability is built for energy, extractives, and climate infrastructure specifically — not adapted from general industrial engineering practice. We understand the regulatory environments, technical standards, and operational demands of each sector in the Francophone African context.
We work in Francophone West and Central Africa — understanding the infrastructure context, regulatory landscape, and operating realities of the region — while applying engineering standards that meet international project finance and regulatory requirements.
ResourcePrime's capability spans the complete systems lifecycle: design, integration, commissioning, and operations support. We do not hand off at the end of one phase and leave clients to source another firm for the next. Continuity of engineering expertise across a project is a significant operational advantage.
Our engineering work is delivered in French and English — essential in a region where project documentation, regulatory submissions, design specifications, and technical training must meet the language requirements of both international standards bodies and national authorities simultaneously.
Share the infrastructure context, the integration challenge you are facing, and the operational outcome you need to achieve. The more specific you are, the more precisely we can scope.
ResourcePrime assesses the requirement and proposes a phased engagement scope — identifying which stages of the systems lifecycle the engagement covers and what each stage will deliver.
Terms, timeline, deliverables, and reporting structure are agreed before technical work begins. No ambiguity on scope or accountability at the outset.
ResourcePrime manages the technical work end to end with regular structured reporting to the client. You have one point of accountability throughout the engagement.
Tell us about your project — the sector, the integration challenge, and the operational outcome you need. We will advise on the right engagement scope and give you a clear view of what ResourcePrime can deliver and when. We work in French and English across Power and Energy, Extractives, and Climate and Environment in Francophone West and Central Africa.
