Across sub-Saharan Africa, the infrastructure investment is arriving. Power generation projects are commissioned. Oil and gas production continues. Climate finance is being deployed. But the assets built in isolation do not connect. The grid cannot absorb the generation. The crude is exported unrefined. The climate project generates data no system can use.
The binding constraint is not capital. It is the absence of engineering systems to integrate what has been built, technical professionals to operate it, and sector knowledge to govern it. Every year this gap widens, investment underperforms, and the distance between what Africa produces and what Africa retains in value grows.
In Francophone Africa — where French is the language of regulation and government, the gap is most acute and least served. The international firms that address these problems elsewhere are largely absent here. The local capacity to replace them does not yet exist at the required scale.
Domestic capital available in Africa, concentrated in short-term instruments, not deployed in productive infrastructure or value chains.
New power capacity required annually to meet Africa’s minimum energy needs by 2050 , versus 8 GW added in 2025. A systems design failure, not a capital one.
Of Africa’s refined fuel consumption imported — despite the continent being a net oil and gas producer. The infrastructure exists. The systems do not.
Climate investment required in Africa by 2030 to meet Paris Agreement commitments. The majority cannot be deployed or tracked because the monitoring, reporting, and verification infrastructure to govern it does not yet exist across most Francophone African markets.
Infrastructure in Africa's energy, extractives, and climate sectors too often exists in isolation — assets that do not connect, systems that do not function together. ResourcePrime provides the engineering expertise to design, integrate, and operationalise these systems as coherent working ecosystems, bridging the gap between capital deployed and outcomes delivered.
Africa's energy, extractives, and climate sectors cannot scale without the people who know how to operate them. ResourcePrime identifies, develops, and deploys certified technical professionals — formed to international standards through our structured programme — into your operations, projects, and teams across Francophone Africa, in French and English.
Compliance requirements change. Regulatory environments shift. Operational gaps widen. ResourcePrime connects your organisation to verified sector expertise — through compliance-driven training programmes, structured knowledge transfer, and strategic advisory — so your teams remain ahead of what the regulatory and operational environment demands.
We monitor compliance frameworks, regulatory changes, and systems requirements across our sectors continuously. Every engagement begins with a clear understanding of the actual need — not a generic solution applied from the outside.
ResourcePrime owns the client relationship and the outcome across all three services. Whether deploying a technical professional, integrating a system, or delivering a training programme, we manage quality and accountability end to end.
Every engagement builds ResourcePrime's sector knowledge base — strengthening our technical capability, deepening our advisory authority, and reducing dependence on external expertise over time.
